Getting in while it was dry was the condition of entry for a day at Mt Tiger - you don't get much drier than a Northland drought. Everywhere the mud was meant to be, it was dry! Still, plenty of drains were found
to play in. Bert's wagon encountered enough hard ground to cause a broken tie-rod end, so off to the shed he went for Robin's welder and Rodney's welding rods, a quick repair and he was soon back underway. Eventually mud was discovered, and pretty soon after that everything and everyone was covered! The day was filled with plenty of playing, plenty of getting stuck, towed out, stuck again... and Colin, once again, broke the tie rod arm in the landy...
